Propargyl-PEG4-beta-D-glucose is a Click Chemistry-ready crosslinker containing a propargyl group and beta-D-glucose. The propargyl groups can be reacted with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield stable triazole linkages. D-glucose increases solubility in aqueous media and increases the selectivity of the PEGylation reaction. This product has not formal name. For the convenience of scientific communication, we named it by combining its Inchi key (3 letters from the first letter of each section) with the last 5 digits of its CAS number or its molecule weight if its CAS number is not available.
